The African Disaster Mitigation Research Center (ADMiR) is a Center of Excellence of the African Union – African Scientific Research and Innovation Council (AU-ASRIC), hosted by the National Research Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics (NRIAG) in Helwan, Cairo — a historic research institute whose origins date back to 1836.
