Early Career Seismology Training Courses

• The CTBTO has the mission to monitor for signs of nuclear weapon testing anywhere, anytime.  To support this, the state signatories of the Treaty are empowered to analyse seismic, hydroacoustic, infrasound, and radionuclide data, through the National Data Centers (NDCs).   CTBTO staff will give a demonstration showing how their NDC-in-a-box software can be used to monitor for both clandestine nuclear tests as well as more routine earthquakes and mining events.   They will also show how it can be integrated with local and regional networks and used to analyse regional seismic events.  The software includes GeoTool, SeisComP3, and PMCC.
